Airfield information
Operating Hours
Carlisle Lake District Airport operates from 09.00am to 17.00pm 7 days a week. An Air Ground service is provided offering airfield information however, this is not always manned.
Runway Information
CLDA has two asphalt runways, Runways 06-24 and Runways 01-19 are both available dependant on the direction of wind. The preferred runway is usually announced by the AGO or can be identified by the windsock direction.
Normal joining operation is left hand circuits unless otherwise instructed.
For all visiting aircraft the South Apron is to be used for parking and is accessed via taxiway foxtrot. We also have availability for parking on our North Apron as well as Hangarage upon request.
Runways 06-24 have lighting available during operational hours
Fuel
CLDA is pleased to announce we are currently offering both AVGAS 100LL and Jet A1 to service our customers needs.

Our AVGAS price is reviewed on a weekly basis. POA

Our Jet A1 price is reviewed on a weekly basis. POA
Fees and Charges
Landing Fees
Up to 0.5t = £8 + VAT
0.5t -1.5t = £12 + VAT
1.5 – 2.5t = £20 + VAT
MTOW above 2.5t = POA
Apron Aircraft Parking
The first two hours are free. The following charges are per 24 hours or part thereof unless otherwise stated:-
Up to 0.5t = £5.00 + VAT
0.6t to 1.5t = £10.00 + VAT
1.6t to 2.5t = £20.00 + VAT
MTOW above 2.5t = POA
