Carlisle Lake District Airport is open daily from 9am-5pm (local time), seven days a week. Air-Ground Communication Service is available on weekdays when possible. Outside of these hours, pilots must use blind calls for communication on frequency 123.605.

Please note: The terminal building, car park and café are now closed to the public until 15 July. The airfield will also be closed to visiting aircraft from 8 June to 10 July, as per the published NOTAM. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

We offer a range of aviation fuels to meet various aircraft requirements:

- F-34

Runway information
Carlisle Lake District Airport has two asphalt runways. Runway 06-24 and Runway 01-19, available depending on wind direction.
The preferred runway is typically announced by the Air Ground Operator or can be identified by the direction of the windsock. Left-hand circuits are the standard joining procedure unless otherwise instructed.
For visiting aircraft, parking is designated on the South Apron accessible via taxiway Foxtrot, with additional parking available on the North Apron.
Runway 06-24 has lighting available during operational hours.

The first 2 hours are free, with the following rates applying for each 24-hour period thereafter:
Up to 0.5t = £5.00 + VAT
0.6t to 1.5t = £10.00 + VAT
1.6t to 2.5t = £20.00 + VAT
MTOW above 2.5t = POA
Landing fees
Up to 0.5t = £8 + VAT
0.5t -1.5t = £12 + VAT
1.5 – 2.5t = £20 + VAT
MTOW above 2.5t = POA
