We are delighted to host the Carlisle Duathlon, a Sprint Distance Duathlon set within the unique surroundings of Carlisle Lake District Airport.
Both running legs take place entirely on the airport grounds, providing a fully traffic-free course, while the cycling section ventures onto quiet country roads in the surrounding area. This combination offers athletes a safe, fast, and enjoyable race environment.
The event is an ideal season warm-up, whether you’re preparing for a busy racing calendar or taking on a duathlon for the first time. The course consists of:
- 5 km run
- 19.3 km bike
- 2.5 km run
Designed to be accessible yet rewarding, the Carlisle Duathlon welcomes all abilities, from complete novices to experienced athletes.
